AESOL School Prep: Social Baby Club ™

"It's not about how quickly a child learns English — it's about letting them experience and grow into the language, naturally."
Social Baby Club is AESOL's early social-emotional and bilingual development program for infants and toddlers from birth to age 2. Rather than rushing children into English, the program focuses on what matters most at this stage: secure attachment, healthy development, and a gentle, stress-free introduction to a bilingual environment.
At AESOL, we believe early language learning isn't about speed. Social Baby Club is built around each child's emotional readiness and developmental stage, helping them build a strong foundation for bilingual growth and future school life, all within warm and supportive relationships.
-
0–6 Months | Building a Sense of Security
In these earliest months, a baby's world is shaped by the people closest to them. Through a secure, loving relationship with their primary caregiver, infants begin to develop a foundational sense of trust and safety. This is also a natural window for absorbing the rhythms, emotions, and sounds of language — long before any words are spoken.
-
6–12 Months | Discovering the World
As babies grow, they become curious explorers — taking in everything around them through movement, sound, and touch. Social curiosity begins to bloom as they respond to different voices, faces, and environments. During this stage, children start naturally tuning into the sounds of both Korean and English, while early communication takes shape through gestures, expressions, and sensory play.
-
12–24 Months | Finding Their Voice
This is the stage of "I want to do it myself." Toddlers are full of opinions, big feelings, and a growing need to express both. Social Baby Club supports this by nurturing emotional expression, early self-regulation, and a healthy sense of independence — all of which lay the groundwork for a smoother, more confident transition into English-language preschool and group settings down the road.
Target Audience : Children aged 1–3 entering an institution for the first time (kindergarten, daycare, English kindergarten, international school) (50 minutes per session, 1–4 times per week)

Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)
The early years are when children first learn to understand and manage their feelings — and that foundation shapes everything that follows. Through everyday moments like expressing emotions, waiting their turn, and playing alongside others, Social Baby Club helps children grow up feeling emotionally secure and connected.
Life Skills & Independence
Children don't learn independence from instructions — they learn it through experience. Within play and daily routines, children naturally practice things like eating on their own, cleaning up, and waiting. These small moments build the confidence and self-regulation skills they'll need in kindergarten and group settings.
Healthy Bilingual Development
Language isn't learned through flashcards — it grows through relationship and experience. Social Baby Club introduces children to both Korean and English in a warm, low-pressure environment, supporting natural bilingual development that fits each child's stage and pace.
A Smoother Start to English Kindergarten
Starting English kindergarten can be a big transition. Social Baby Club helps children feel emotionally ready — easing separation anxiety, building trust with teachers, and practicing group participation — so they can settle into a new environment with more confidence and less stress.
Natural English Exposure
Instead of drills or alphabet cards, children encounter English through songs, movement, play, and everyday interaction. English becomes something familiar and enjoyable — just a natural part of their day, not something to be anxious about.
